About
What scoop.fm is.
A newspaper written from podcasts. We transcribe 40,000 episodes a day and listen to every one — then publish weekly editions on the topics that matter, and personal scoops about the things you track.
Why we made it
The best business thinking happens in long-form audio — investors on tape, founders mid-build, sales leaders teaching their teams. But no one has six hours a day to listen. So most of the signal vanishes into commute time, gym time, dishwashing time, and a backlog you never finish.
scoop.fm reads the top podcasts for you. We pull the moments that matter — tickers, plays, ideas, patterns — tag each one with the speaker, episode, and timestamp, and send them as short, tight briefings each week.
The method
We listen
We transcribe 40,000 episodes a day and listen to every one. For each edition we curate the most authoritative shows on that topic — hosted by operators, not pundits. Curated, not crawled.
We extract
Every conversation is mined for signals, ideas, plays, and patterns. Each one tagged with the speaker, episode, and timestamp so you can verify and go deeper.
We edit
A human (and a careful pipeline) shapes each briefing — narrative thread, lead, supporting points, footnotes. We cut anything that wouldn't survive a second read.

Your own newspaper
The editions are pages we write for everyone. A scoop is a page we write just for you — pick the people, companies, podcasts and topics you care about, and we'll brief you on exactly what was said about them: track your company or competitors, stay ahead of a trend, or find your next favourite show.
Who it's for
Founders, investors, operators, and sales leaders who want to know what was said yesterday without burning their morning to find out. If you'd normally have one of these podcasts on in the background, scoop.fm is the version you can read in three minutes.
Who runs it
scoop.fm is built by the team behind Pod Engine, the podcast intelligence platform we use to source, transcribe, and search the conversations behind every edition.
